A scene from the story 'Dr Jeckyll and Mr Hyde' by Robert Louis Stevenson. Mr Utterson the lawyer and old friend of Dr Jeckyll, is taking a Sunday walk through the streets of London with his companion Mr Enfield. As they come alongside the entry of a property Mr Enfield knew to be occupied by Mr Hyde, he lifts his cane and pointing, asks the lawyer, 'Did you ever remark that door?'

This print is pulled from a relief plate cut from a sheet of rubber, a variation of letterpress.

Materials used:

oil based black printing ink, Heritage Bookwhite 160gsm
