I was painting plein air on a very hot summer morning. By afternoon I needed shade! It was in this search that I came across Diane's garden and found a leafy area to set up my easel. The sun was shining on the sundial but I was back in the shadows. Perfect!
This is the result - what a calming place to spend a summer afternoon.
