Another painting from a body of work that derived from my walks to Dartmoor through the the then, derelict and neglected Hemerdon Mine, again, all about the poeticism of the space.
This image of the area no longer exists, it has been newly re-opened and almost every trace of the old mine and Moorland habitat have now been erased. It is now one of the largest open cast tungsten mines in Europe. www.eddiefordham.com
