Artist's description:

Compsa, (a/k/a “Conza”) is located in the province of Avellino (Campania) in southern Italy. It was an ancient city of the Hirpinin occupied by the Carthaginian conqueror Hannibal in 216 BC. The town was almost completely destroyed by the Irpinian earthquake of 1980. It was rebuilt in the area called Piano delle Briglie, 8 kilometres (5 mi) from the former center. These paintings reflect a trip I have taken among the rubble, or sacred ground zero, of a former existence. The series "Conza: reflections" is dedicated to the state of anguish, fear, terror ( a 20% discount will be offered on each painting with the purchase of the entire series made of of 7 pieces)
