I have seen those dead roses in a jug at my friend's house and I found them irresistibly beautiful. Those gorgeous flowers called roses were still gorgeous when they dried.
I have painted them with oils in my own style, "triangularism" as I call it, which is basically a form of cubism. I try to use triangles to express the beauty of different objects, which are not angular, like roses.
The painting is unframed.
I have used Winsor&Newton stretched canvas and oils. I also used Winton and Lukas studio oils.
