Artist's description:

The name Darjeeling comes from the Tibetan words, Dorje (thunderbolt) and Ling (place or land), meaning the land of the thunderbolt. The history of Darjeeling district is linked to that of the Sikkim, East India Company, Nepal and Bhutan. I have try to paint a landscape while on I was on my study tour from collage. This was done on the spot painting, day twenty four. The village name call Almora. Nice village nice school. It was freezing cold weather. I couldn't open my fingers to hold brush in my fingers. But some how I manage to finish my painting.
