Mid afternoon sunlight, falling on the Napoleonic Fort at Chatham.
The two hundred year old weather brick lies in the shade of a sturdy tree, on a scorching hot Summer's day. The site is historically important, and overlooks the River Medway, and one of the major shipbuilding sites of England.

Painted in an Impressionist style, giving the feeling of heat and shade, at the height of the summer.
An original art work, created using only Artist's grade oil paints from Winsor & Newton & Michael Harding.

Total measurements are 8x10 inches, 25.5x20 cm, mdf oil primed board.
