Artist's description:

In honor of the day of the dead celebrations, I have created a series of paintings using the traditional Day of the Dead imagery--marigolds, skeletons of horses, people and a cat.

Dapper Day of the Dead describes one of the revelers at the Day of the Dead parades that were a highlight of living in San Francisco's Mission District. This is a small framed painting 12x12, oil paint, RUSTOLEUM oil based enamel, MINWAX wood stain on stretched canvas. Framed and ready to hang.

"I knew a man who once said, "death smiles at us all; all a man can do is smile back." ~From the movie Gladiator

Materials used:

oil paint, min wax wood stain, soap, Rustoleum oil based enamel
