Original artwork description:

"Dans le vent du Jardin Secret" is a painting which evokes that place where we hide sometimes, it's a place where we go for finding peace, for crying, or for looking back at our secret thoughts we still cherish. I have created a garden for nice and sad memories, inspired by a real location I have been in the past.

This series of paintings is called "Flirtation with reality".
It's an evocation of nature and countryside, an evocation of natural landscapes, I made the realism more obvious than in the other paintings, pushing further the borders between abstraction and realism.
The hues used are less flashy, less colour contrasted -even if that can still happen- (the transitions between colours are more subtle), tinted with a touch of melancholy. I want it more romantic, with a lingering feeling of nostalgia, but in a poetic way.

MATERIALS:
"Dans le vent du Jardin Secret" is painted with acrylic on a stretched gallery-wrapped canvas (standard cotton), it is signed on the front, and will be delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
