Original artwork description:

Land of my Fathers is a Welsh song/hymn and is the name I gave to my first painting of a daffodil in this series of flowers created this year.
Born and raised in Wales daffodils are hugely important to me and are one of my favourite flowers. They were also my mothers favourite, so my working title for this painting is
'Land of my Mother".

Daffodils are also significant for their promotion of the beginning of Spring, which is always a joyous occasion.

Materials used:

acrylic paints, gel medium
