Artist's description:

A little girl perches on her father's shoulder for a photo on a sunny summer day sometime in the 1940's.
The innocence of that time and her love and trust of her Daddy prompted me to keep to keep the execution of the mixed media technique simple. Times were uncomplicated then.
I started with an ink drawing wash on white milk paint and then added several layers of encaustic (beeswax and resin melted together) then I added sepia toned oil paint to give an aged look.

This needs no framing. It is on a cradled board

Materials used:

milk paint, ink, encaustic, oil paint
