Artist's description:

The sailing barge "Cygnet" arriving at her home berth on the River Alde at Snape, Suffolk.
I was lucky enough to be at Snape one evening when this barge came quietly up the river, under sail, and gently snuggled into her berth at Snape Quay. No engine, no shouting at crew - it was done single-handed. A wonderful sight.
This is a woodcut, using 4 blocks, and shows "Cygnet" with the Snape road bridge in the background.
