Artist's description:

Chimpanzees are evolutionary cousins of ours, the closest relative that we have.

That they suffer at our hands is shameful, habitat destruction, captivity, medical experimentation and even as food.

This painting was my attempt to portray the connection that we have to these magnificent apes.

Materials used:

Artists quality Acrylic paint on gessoed board
