Artist's description:

The title came from the poet/philosopher David Whyte, and how he describes embodying a way of living which turns to face uncertainty. This is reflected in the ever changing moods of a coastal landscape, and the effect of weather upon the land itself. The dark cliff is in ink, and the rest of the image is soft pastel, crumbled, and then applied using the fingers.
