When I saw this scene which was on an old colour slide I felt it would it would make a great painting. It had all the ingredients I love to paint. A beautiful tree , a stream and lovely old stonework.
The photo reference used was by David Robins but I used a fair bit of artistic license to get the feeling I wanted.

Professional quality oil paint, brushes, painting knives, quality canvas
