The great coral masses of the world are bleaching and shrinking, and it is said they may eventually disappear. I was reading an article about this, when I remember my time as a young girl in a glass bottomed boat, looking down through the glass at the coral below in an emerald sea. There was always one particular time in the day, when the sun shone through the glass, as through a lens, and lit up the coral like the beam of a searchlight. I thought it appropriate to entitle this work:
"Coral Bright"
