Original artwork description:

When I made my Moon Moths series and the Green with Envy (blue butterflies) series, I felt like I didn't want to stop making butterflies, so I made lots more in different colours. The bodies of the copper butterflies are made with beautiful 24 carat gold leaf (copper shade) glass from Venice. The wings are a copper fleck orange glass tile. The background cut from glass rods.
Set securely into a good quality wooden box frame with plexi glass cover.

Materials used:

copper gold leaf glass, glass rod, glass tile, plywood
