Original artwork description:

"A hundred years ago conscientious objectors were vilified and labelled as cowards; hopefully progress has taught us that it takes as much courage to take a stand as it does to take up arms.
We have a choice. We can choose not to fight. We can choose peace."

Oil on recycled tent fabric, painted and shown as part of the 14-18 event which culminated with Danny Boyle's portraits on beaches across the UK. A reworking of Kisinger's famous poster calling for men to enlist, it's calling for you to choose a more peaceful path.
