Evening sunshine, the air just beginning to cool - and a slightly abstract approach.

This is one of a series of paintings inspired by the wonky biro sketches made whilst travelling along in an open top vintage car through this spectacular Irish landscape - the Delphi Valley in Connemara. Adding a decorative twist through abstraction I aimed to express the immense feeling of wonder at being right inside such a magnificent landscape.
