After honing my skills with smaller still life, I am now creating larger works that bring to focus the shapes, shades and many subtle shifts in colour that can be found in lifes simple pleasures. This painting features a lot of textured work before beginning the painting itself. Complementary because the positioning of the Pears and the complementary colours of Red and Green.
