Original artwork description:
An abstract painting of roses perceived in moonlight. Paintings consist primarily of light and dark blues (mineral blue), and magenta and red. I'm playing here with objects in and out of focus, and with mood, conveying the sense of wonder I feel on those rare occasions when the moon is very bright on a summer night and I walk through the garden. Of course, in reality, the red would not be so bright as this, but this is a liberty that I've taken for the sake of contrast and drama. This is pared with a painting of mine called "To Continents of Summer and Firmaments of Sky" -- the garden in sunlight.
