Artwork description:

Alligator and bird portrait, we have to keep a colourful attitude even though, right now, we do have a black bird sitting on our nose.

I have created two versions, you can swipe through the pictures to see them, one printing directly on the Fabriano paper I normally use, and another one using the "chine-collé" technique in which the image is transferred onto a surface that is bonded onto a heavier support in the printing process, in this case the image is transferred to an old encilopaedia's double page which is bonded to a 250 grms Fabriano paper. The available version is the one printed onto the Fabriano paper.

I always use the finest quality materials including archival acid-free printmaking paper and environmentally friendly printing inks.

All my editions are signed and numbered at the base of the image.

As each of these prints is handmade there will be some very slight variation between them.

Orders are wrapped in acid-free tissue, packed between two layers of board in a reinforced envelope, and they are dispatched, signed and tracked, within five days (maximum).

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to send a message, and thank you very much for taking a look!.

Materials used:

Linoleum hand carved matrix, acid free printmaking paper with archival quality, old enciclopaedia paper, printmaking press, Caligo oild based eco-inks, watercoluors, artist's tools skills and imagination
