'Colouration II' is an original painting created using a mix of techniques with layers, acrylic paint and inks to create texture and depth. This abstract painting features a striking colour palette including metallic and iridescent paints on a textured gradient background, including yellow, orange, red, burgundy and gold.
This painting is part of my 'Colouration' series which continues the theme of textile like paintings exploring the pattern of life, paths, and direction changes. I also use a drip effect technique representing the idea of loose and unfinished threads.
The painting is on professional quality canvas board. The painting is professionally triple float mounted and is ready for you to frame.
Please note that this painting is supplied in a thick triple float mount, but is NOT framed.
The painting is varnished.
The work is signed on the front and the back.
A Certificate of Authenticity is provided.
