Artist's description:

The latest of the colour Study Series, this took about 4 weeks over Xmas 2014 through January. Originally I had drawn a fantasy self-portrait a la the exhibits at the exhibition at The British Museum's Prints & Drawings Room "Witches and Wicked Bodies" between 25th September 2014 – 11th January 2015 that my daughter dragged us off to (I used to have a pass to that place and I actually got some prints allotted to me there when I was a student so that I could sit there and draw them: see "Christ After Redon"). But the image transmogrified away from fantasy/figurative into abstract/fashion design. It is a very odd image completed in a very disjointed month. On A3 oil paper. This item is framed but I do not want to send it in the post like that as it will only get smashed (the glazing).

Materials used:

Oil Paints.
