Original artwork description:

acrylic ink on handmade Yhai mulberry paper (kada sa) 8x11 in., 20x28 cm.
Painting is inspired from an oh so typical Malaysian scene, here a simple , old style, open air Chinese restaurant.
This scene was taken from a then famous landmark eating spot in the coastal town of Mersing, Malaysia.
The simple black & white has a special mood that colour paintings don’t capture, and allows the texture of the paper to stand out.

Materials used:

acrylic colour on handmade Thai mulberry paper (kada sa), deckled edge
