In May of 2000, I took a photo of a bouquet of roses that were devoted to the birth of my youngest daughter. Years later, I again found that photo and in each of the roses, I saw myself and all three of my children individually. "Cluster of Roses" is about the beauty of when family members are close and touch each other's lives. The daisies and baby's breath in the center creates perfect harmony with the roses and the world within the painting is complete.
