A quaint little oil on canvas painting of a unique troika vase which is very collectable. The vase was made at the Troika pottery in St Ives around the early 60's. I bought it a few years ago and love the simple slabby chunkiness of it and the small abstract shapes carved into the textured surface of the clay. The clove pinks are a favourite scented flowers my Dad used to grow when I was young.
The painting is small but unique and pretty. It is framed with a good quality wooden frame painted a soft sage green and ready to hang.
