Clissold at Night was painted with an attempt to humanize nature. The interesting composition between the two seeds subtly suggests a caring relationship unfolding, provoking an emotive response by the viewer.

This is a painting of the nature I have found when walking around London, the concept for the painting is that I benefit from this ongoing struggle and attempt to soften London life by focusing on the nature, a beautiful aspect that is often forgotten in this busy city.
