An original painting inspired by the ruinous Norman keep, part of the York Castle complex and commonly referred to as Clifford's Tower. The Tower occupies a striking position on top of a traditional motte yet rubbing shoulders with more contemporary buildings - I've tried to indicate this in the painting. Painted in mixed media (pen, ink, ink wash and oil pastel) on quality Bockingford 300gsm acid-free paper. The painting is supplied un-mounted and un-framed and will be sent in a postal tube. FREE POSTAGE FOR UK BUYERS.
