Original artwork description:

After making a number of sketches at a community city farm in Newcastle upon Tyne I produced this painting.
Ouseburn farm is located in a part of Newcastle which once must have been very grim part of the city with a number of small factory's hugging the banks of a small tributary of the river Tyne.
The sunflowers provide hope for the future on a crisp Autumn morning, old warehouses in the background absorbing the gentle warmth of the sun.
