An elegant and stylized female character, processed in an abstract way by Jean-Luc Lacroix. The artist was inspired by the history of the brave women warriors of Benin, for their strength and bravery. He illustrated her with calligraphy, old stamp of the Republic of Dahomey, and other typographic collages, to sustain the graphic aspect. Dark blues, browns, and reds harmonize the painting to reinforce the vigorous aspect of the work.
