Artist's description:

This photo of cherry blossoms was taken in Beppu, Japan. Beppu is the world's second largest source of thermal spring water after Yellowstone National Park in the United States. I visited this wonderful city in the spring of 2012 and was able to enjoy the beauty of cherry blossoms and the petals falling in the wind to make up a most wonderful kaleidoscope. Through the steam coming from the earth, to the sea enclosing the city and Mount Tsurumi guarding the land, Beppu is a place to go to for a unique Japanese experience.
