Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

This is a stunning picture of a tiger and the eyes are definitely the focus! This piece has been drawn with pastels on pastelmat and the finished piece has been double mounted and framed - it really is an eye-catching centre-piece.
Chatoyant refers to the effect seen in certain gemstones (such as tiger's eye!) and can be likened to the sheen from a spool of silk. As this tiger's eyes are so compelling it seemed the perfect title.

Materials used:

pastels on Pastelmat paper
