Artist's description:

This piece is archival mounted and double matted, but not framed.

When I visited Lake Geneva, Switzerland in 2013, one of the most remarkable structures we toured was Château de Chillon. Its rich and long history, dating back to its original use by the Romans, was mesmerizing. This is a huge and rather unique fireplace in one of the sleeping quarters.

Materials used:

Chalk pastels and conté crayon

Château de Chillon Fireplace, circa 1005 A.D. (2015)
