Original artwork description:
Japanese good luck symbol, painted on to gold leaf using Indian ink, and vandyk crystals. The detail and the symbol are slightly raised using organic handmade gesso used traditionally. This piece has a contemporary feel whilst looking like a real genuine antique.
This has been hung in a high class hotel in the Cotswolds since 2007 and has now been traded in for something else! So here it is on artfinder!

Rabbit skin gesso, dutch metal gold leaf, 23 carat gold leaf, Indian ink, vandyk crystals, french polish, oil paint
