Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

Salt print of a single Tulip - from a set off 3 originals.
Print is hung mounted on a sheet of off white card.

Salt Printing is a process that was first developed by chemist William Henry Fox Talbot in 1830's who created his images with a film negative, chemicals and sunlight.

Today the practice is known as an Alternative Printing Process where prints are handmade giving each their unique tone and character.

Materials used:

Treated art paper, sea salt, various smelly chemicals and good old sunlight.
