When I lived in Tallinn next to Russia I was asked by a gallery to paint some famous Russian painters into my Matryoshka series. This is my Chagall Matryoshka.
The day I took the photo was very cloudy. The background colour looks a bit grey but it is a light cream.
The painting is done around a thick frame which means it does not need to be framed. I post this size ready to hang.
