The beautiful she-cat called Chachatte on an armchair, with a Venetian mask. The title makes reference to Marquise de Pompadour, official chief mistress of Louis XV during the 18th century. She was as beautiful as Chachatte is now, wasn't she? The pattern of the plaid on which Chachatte sits reminds me of the 18th century, too.
This is a 46 x 33 cm (18,11 x 12,9") oil painting, on a high quality linen canvas I stretched myself.
It will be delivered with a certificate of authenticity, ready to hang and signed on front.
