Artwork description:

This is the second of my illustrations of the iconic Centre Pompidou in Paris. I've kept to a limited palette of colours- predominantly blue with the red on the underside of the escalator and the yellow at the base of the glass tubes the only contrast. This simple, muted back-drop helps to bring-out the complex inter-locking white tubular framework- the main decoration of this simple, elegant piece of architecture.

Materials used:

Ink drawing, digitally coloured on Hahnemühle Bamboo 290gsm paper
