I am intrigued by the form and character of chairs. We are rarely more than a few feet away from one at any given time. My chairs are characters in their own right and they are cherished, taken for granted or often discarded. I strive to tell their story as I set up vignettes, often veiled with an old dust sheet which implies secrets or unifies the characters.. Catch Me is a portrait of a young lady after a carefree night on the town, beautiful clothes discarded and fallen into the arms of her trusty companion. Tall, dark and handsome... her rock.
The painting is on 2" gallery wrap canvas which is ready to hang with no framing. It is finished with a satin sheen and signed on the front.
