Artist's description:

In the 1990's I was using acrylic paint skin to make various collages, both abstract and figurative. This is one of the figurative ones. It is expressively exaggerated with lots of rippling bands of color. Then embellished with more acrylic paint. The subjects oddly enough are spiritual in nature and suggest angels are among us. I am not sure why I felt a need to create them; but I just went with the flow. The figures are so sculptural that it is sometimes difficult to call them paintings.
