Artist's description:

Over a period of 35 years I've repeated many walks and come to know the places intimately using the camera as a sketchbook or visual reminder of places. There are occasions where the image caught on the camera stands on its own and other times I use them as a starting point to paint an emotional response.

Cann Wood is an area that is Forestry Commission managed and located on the edge of Dartmoor National park. It is part of my daily commute to my studio at Elfordleigh near Plymouth. www.eddiefordham.com
