Artist's description:

This hand-painted image of my beautiful and always fashionable aunt Camerina Lopez, my father's younger sister, was taken by either my father or great-uncle on my parents civil wedding day, July 1949 in San Miguel El Alto, Jalisco, Mexico. My aunt, like most of my family, enjoyed singing so it's very appropriate of her to be singing along with a traditional mariachi.

Materials used:

fine art silver rag, archival paper/ink
