Original artwork description:
I picked these camellias from my garden this week, the only flowers out at the moment. I chose a pink cloth to paint them on and used a peachy orange background, a similar colour to the stamens of the camellia. I have used my usual Michael Harding oil paints and used a linen canvas. The painting is currently unframed but I could frame if desired.
