This dreamy landscape is painted in acrylic on a box canvas, using underlying texture and spatter to create an atmospheric view. The soft and misty grey-greens, duck-egg blue, dusky mauve/brown and the creams in the distant and diffuse light source, all contribute to a feeling of indistinct shapes and forms. Gazing at the painting gives a feeling of time being suspended, like at twilight or dawn, when sights and sounds are muted... it is my calming escape.
