"Café du Soleil" is an original palette knife oil painting on canvas, 36x36cm / 14x14 inches. The painting is realized on linen, bonded on wood panel and framed with mat board. The dimensions of the painting including the mat board are 44x44 cm / 17x17 inches.
I was inspired to paint this street scene during one of my bike rides in the beautiful city of Lyon.
This is a palette knife painting. No brush was used to create the work. I only used different types of palette knives to apply thick oil color paint.
