“By My Side” is a portrait of a bassist and his instrument. More than a mere object, the bass here comes to life so a dialogue can happen with the musician. The bass is a confident he cannot hide anything. She feels the artist’s emotions and translates them into music. An intimate bond is created between the man and his instrument, from there is born the music.
