Here is another painting from series "Dogs and Hats".
Three absolutely adorable bulldogs, sitting, waiting for the bus to come. The weather is very English, as well as their hats. The original painting is very detailed and it looks great!
I love these breed - English Bulldogs have got an amazing character and the way they look - is amazing!
Again, it was absolute pleasure to paint them and I am happy to sell it to somebody who adore dogs as much as I do!

The size of the actual painting may be slightly different because I frame the painting straight away and I am relying on the mount size when measuring it later.
It has been painted with the best quality pastels and coloured pencils on a heavy weight paper.
This is very detailed artwork and in spite of being done with pastels is called painting because the surface is perfectly covered (few layers) and no paper shows through.
Using pastels when painting animals gives me an opportunity to achieve a wonderfully luscious, velvety texture and deep, rich colours.
The great advantages of the pastel paintings are that it will never crack, yellow or darken over time. When properly framed and securely hung, the particles will stay fixed in place for centuries.
