Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

The burning of the clocks' is a winter solstice festival celebrated every 21st December in Brighton. I did this work outside in the reflected lights of the fires and paper lantern lamps as we marched to the beach where a huge bonfire is built out of about 2,000 paper clocks. It's a wonderful winter festival and the whole town celebrates the turning of darkness into light.
