Artist's description:

Pill Bridge is a famous stone arch bridge located in Ilchester Somerset. Spanning the River Yeo, this packhorse bridge dates back to the 17th Century. The image was captured one lovely morning in May when all you could hear was the birds. This is typical of Somerset in late Spring and if I ever move away from this wonderful countryside, it will be a day too soon

The inspiration for my art comes from my inner desire to capture the colour and beauty of a specific scene which if missed at that time, could be gone forever.

I use a process whereby the original photograph is carefully modified using digital manipulation to create unique and stunning oil painting style art. Although this particular method is lengthy, my love for creating this style of art makes the whole process an effortless pleasure.

I always print to canvas using archive grade inks and specialist matt varnish. I find canvas (aside from being extremely tough) provides the best texture and depth whilst the specialist inks and varnish deliver wonderful bold, vibrant colours.

Having my own framing workshop, I am able to offer ready to hang framing options.

This particular art can be gallery wrapped, gallery wrapped with outer frame, or none framed sent in roll form.

Materials used: Canvas; Epson archive grade inks; specialist acrylic varnish plus pine wood frame (if ordering framed art).

Size of Art: 24” x 16” (60.96mm x 40.64mm).

Limited Edition: 1/5 (one of 5 in total).

Certificate of Authenticity: Numbered and signed by the Artist.

Gallery Wrapped: This method uses a 38mm chunky pine wood stretcher frame and comes ‘ready to hang’ This gallery wrapped version is sent via a large double skinned packing box to make sure it arrives in perfect condition.

Gallery Wrapped with outer Wooden Frame: This artwork is also gallery wrapped, but with a slightly smaller pine wood stretcher frame. This then allows the smaller stretcher frame to be inserted into a traditional type picture frame. This option provides the best of both in that you have the beauty and longevity of art on canvas, inserted into a traditional style wooden frame of your colour choice. Again this item comes ready to hang and is sent via a large double skinned packing box to make sure it arrives in perfect condition. The outer wooden frame colour choices are as follows: black, white, mahogany, teak, natural and Komodo red, Komodo green or Komodo ivory. If you would like to see the artwork together with your colour choice of frame, please let me know and I will send you a photo so you can see for yourself before making your purchase.

None Framed: No frame is provided with this option and instead, the art is sent rolled in a super strong damage proof cardboard tube. The actual image size will be slightly bigger than 24" x 16" to accommodate the stretcher frame wrapping process. Please advise how you intend to frame the art and I will make sure the art is produced at the exact size required.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any queries regarding my artwork and thank you for visiting my Artfinder shop.
